Capsule Endoscopy

Capsule endoscopy is a procedure that allows your health care provider to see the inside lining of the middle part of the GI tract, including portions of the small intestine. This procedure is chosen over an upper endoscopy or colonoscopy because the entire small intestine cannot be visualized by those procedures.

Computed Tomography Enterography (CTE)

Computer tomography enterography (CTE) is a type of computed tomography medical test that helps diagnose certain gastrointestinal diseases in the small intestine, sometimes referred to as the small bowel. CTE is a noninvasive imaging exam.

Esophageal Manometry

An esophageal manometry is a procedure used to measure pressures and swallowing function inside the esophagus. It is also possible to determine if the valves are opening and closing properly and at the right time.

Hemorrhoid Banding

To treat persistent hemorrhoids, your doctor may perform hemorrhoid banding. During this procedure, the doctor will place a rubber band around the hemorrhoid to cut off the blood supply, causing it to wither.

Remicade (IV) Infusion

Remicade® (infliximab) is a treatment option for patients who suffer from inflammatory bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, who have not responded to other drug therapies. The drug is also used to treat various joint disorders as well as psoriasis.

Ultrasound

Sometimes referred to as sonography, ultrasound imaging creates images of internal organs through the use of sound waves. It is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Virtual Colonoscopy

A virtual colonoscopy is an imaging procedure that uses technology known as computerized tomography (CT) to produce hundreds of cross-sectional images of the rectum and entire colon.
